Teruel-based Baja España Aragón rescheduled for mid-September
Following the Government of Aragón’s cancellation of last weekend’s Baja España Aragón because of the risk of wildfires, the organising team at Esedos Events & Productions S.L. have liaised with the FIA and the Real Federación Española de Automovilismo and rescheduled the event for 10-13 September.

The Teruel-based Baja will retain a similar format to the original event and be the fifth round of the FIA World Baja Cup and the sixth round of the FIA European Baja Cup. The Hungarian Baja (13-15 August) and the Columna Medica Baja Poland (27-30 August) will now run as the fourth and fifth rounds of the European series.
Jérôme Roussel, FIA Cross-Country and Regional Rally Championships manager, said: “We have acted swiftly and worked with the RFEdA, the event organisers and local authorities to ensure that the event retains its place in both the Baja calendars, at a date that works for competitors’ logistics. This new date will also create an opportunity for back-to-back events with the Baja TT Sharish Reguengos Mourão, scheduled in Portugal on 18-20 September.”
The Baja España Aragón will again be based at the Exhibition and Congress Palace of Teruel. Competitors will be permitted to submit a new nomination or amend an existing one to score FIA Baja Cups points at the event until 27 August. Six scores from a possible eight count towards both the 2026 FIA World and European Baja Cups.
